QWhat are the prices of the decals?
A

Prices are shown next to the sizes on the pull-down menu.  Specialty vinyl, adding a second color or a full color print adds to the cost but price is always updated after you select the options you want.  And the total price you will be charged is shown during checkout. 

QCan I get the decals in a color other than black?
A

Yes, the decals are shown in black (sometimes in other colors) just for reference. All die-cut style decals can be made in any color found on the color chart. See a guide on how to choose the proper color here. Note that we can make about any design you want in any color(s) you want. Full color decals will come in the colors shown in the main image. Though we can usually adjust colors on those as well.

QHow do I find out the specific height of each decal?

Height (and width) are shown below the main image of the product after you select the width you want in step 1. See sizing page for more information. You may always specify the specific height you want in the comments box but it is best to just let it work out to whatever is proportional.  Otherwise your design can begin to look "squashed" if the design is skewed too much.

QWhy is my order "On Hold"?
A

Typically your order is placed on hold for 1 of 3 reasons:

  • -If your order contains a full color print it needs about 24 hours to dry before we can handle it. So we mark these orders as "on hold" until they are fully dry and ready to ship. Single color decals (where you choose the color in step 2) does not require this dry time since the decal are cut from material that is already the color you order.
  • -Sometimes we have questions regarding your order and we need more information from you before we can proceed.  You should have an email in your inbox if this is the case.  Your SPAM filter may catch an email from us so be sure to check that folder too.  If you don't see one and suspect we may have questions for you then you may also contact us with your order number so we can find out what the issue is.
  • -On very rare occasions things go wrong.  Something may have been cut wrong, or we are out of stock on material.  In which case the order is put on hold until the material comes in.
QHow do I remove an existing sticker/decal?

QI would like to order a decal with a custom printed pattern but I can't find the option in the color choice pull down menu.
A

Since there are literally hundreds of pattern options they all can't be listed in the pull down menu. But it can be done by choosing CUSTOM FILL as your color choice and state the pattern name in the comments box. A full guide on how to order these can be found here at the bottom of the page.

QDo you offer discounts?

QCan I clear coat over the decals?
A

Yes, since all the decal offered are vinyl or polyester based (not paper based) they may be cleared over. This will prolong the outdoor life of the decals even longer than those times listed on the color chart.

QWhy did I get extra FREE DECALS with my order?
A

Occasionally we include some free decals when there is some extra space left on the sheet when printing/cutting your order.  While we normally use that extra space for other customer's decals,  when orders are for small decals or in a rare color that not many customers order we may have room to cut an extra or two.  Then we pass them along to you!  Just our way of saying "thank you" for ordering with us.

QWhat is the DIFFERENCE between DECALS and STICKERS?

Essentially nothing.  We use the two terms interchangeably since so many people consider them to be the same thing.  Many years ago "stickers" meant a cheap paper product while "decals" meant a high quality product meant to be used outdoors.  Since "bumper stickers" became popular over the years, consumers started to consider all decals to be stickers and all stickers to be decals.  Pretty much all decals/stickers we offer are outdoor rated (with a few exceptions) so don't worry about if it is labeled a decal or sticker; you will be getting a high quality product.

QI would like to order by phone but I can't seem to find a phone number.
A

For security purposes (IP Tracking) our merchant account holder requires that all credit card transactions be processed online. This processes the cards in real time. You will get a receipt emailed to you immediately after the order is placed. If you have any questions regarding an existing or future order please send us an email.

QI am located outside the United States, can I still order from you?
A

Yes, we do ship internationally via USPS and UPS.

QI would like to pay with PayPal, is this possible?
A

Yes, just select PayPal from the payment type on the shipping page. You may now also use PayPal to process a credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account. We also accept PayPal Credit, and all major credit cards.

QThe preview images of the decals appear rough around the edges. Is my decal going to look this way?
A

No, the images just appear that way on your monitor. Your decal will be cut smooth unless the decal is designed that way.

QI am applying the decal on glass: Does the decal go on the inside or outside of the window?
A

The decal is designed to go on the outside of the window. This allows it to be more visible. If you would like for the decal to go on the inside of the glass that can be done too for most vinyl. See color chart for details on what vinyl can NOT be used on inside of glass (most specialy vinyl can not be used on the inside of glass). Just select "Reverse" from the Extras pull down menu.  If ordering a full color print you will need to choose "Interior Glass Print" from the material option in Step 2.

QHow are the decals made?
A

The decals are made by a computer plotter that precisely cuts a design according to a software program. Then all of the excess vinyl is removed by hand. Finally the decal is covered with an application tape that is used to install the decal. Then the decal is trimmed down to a size that is easier to work with.

QHow long can I expect the decals to last?
A

That depends on the vinyl color and how the decal is treated. We use the same type of vinyl used by sign shops for commercial vehicles. Most of the vinyl we offer has a 5-6 year outdoor life. This can be extended if the decal does not always sit in the sun/weather. See the color chart for more information.  Full color prints use a different material. See outdoor life expectancy of those here.

QCan I get a refund if the item is not what I wanted?
A

Since almost all decals are custom made to order the answer is usually no but we strive to make sure you are still satisfied. Please see our Refund page for more information on this matter.

QHow soon can I expect my order to arrive?
A

Most orders are usually shipped within 24-48 hours (except for holidays and weekends). DELIVERY time is anywhere from 1-30 dayd depending on where you are located and what shipping service you choose. *Printed "full color" decals take an extra 24-48 hours for the ink to dry but they are normally still shipped 2-3 days after you order. 

Bulk orders (125+ decals) can sometimes take about a week to complete but if you are getting decals that take over the normal print time then it should be explained in email or on the order page.

International orders get sent via Air Mail; delivery times can vary from days to weeks depending on your location but we do offer Priority International and UPS if you need it in a hurry.  UPS is highly recommended.
